Now I’m not a doctor, so I’m not here to diagnose. However, there are many reasons for hair loss..
Medication
Menopause
Hormones
Diet
Weight loss/gain
Illness
Stress
Seriously the list goes on!!
There are many treatments for hairloss. Obviously in hair salons we don’t have medical treatments but we do have a few products, tips etc.
First, you need to know if it’s hair loss or breakage. Ask your stylist to determine that. You can determine it yourself at home.
Comb all tangles out
Comb a section of hair straight up
…. If the root area is nice & thick but the ends are thin & straggly, then it’s probably breakage.
…. If the root area is thinner than normal then it’s probably hair loss.
NO… a lot of hair on the drain is not ALWAYS a good indicator. Why???
There are three phases of hair growth, and a shedding phase.
anagen, catagen, telogen, and exogen.
Anagen is when the hair follicle produces a hair fiber. This phase can last for several years. This determines how long your hair grows. If your hair gets very long, then your phase can last up to nine years. If it doesn’t grow past your chin, then it might grow up-to four years.
Catagen is when the hair follicle begins to revert. This phase can last a few weeks.
Exogen is when the hair is shed. This is when you see hair in your drain.
Telogen is when the hair follicle is inactive. This phase can last for about three months.
There are so many strand of hair on your head that there is always hundreds/thousands of strands in each phase every day. This is also why sometimes you’ll see a heavy shed cycle once or twice a year. It’s just your hair follicles cycle in the phase.

Yes I have seen certain products cause regression once you stop using them. I have not seen that with Natulique.
